The Monona Grove School District constructed a new 160,000 square foot middle school and renovated their existing middle school to become an elementary school. The community, via a spring of 2006 referendum, approved the total project cost of $28 million.

Huffman Keel Partners was engaged as Owner Project Manager to represent the school board and the District Administration in the design, construction and opening of these facilities. A geothermal heating and cooling systems were installed in the new school. Two separate road development projects were undertaken as part of the overall development. The project was completed in June of 2008, ahead of schedule and under budget.
