Michael Huffman was an Owner’s Representative for the following project as an employee of the University of Wisconsin – Madison Athletic Department.
The Kohl Center is a 17,200-seat multipurpose arena that was constructed for the University of Wisconsin – Madison Athletic Department. The facility serves as home to the UW men’s and women’s basketball and hockey teams. The 460,000 square foot building was constructed for $76 million in a fast-track development process. Michael Huffman was hired as an Owner’s Representative in December 1996. Upon completion of the project in January 1998, he assumed the role of Operations Manager and retained the position until October 2000, when he founded Huffman Facility Development, Inc.
