School District of Monroe

Huffman Keel Partners was contracted to serve as Owner's Representative for the School District of Monroe after voters passed an $88M referendum for the construction of a new high school in 2022. The existing high school faced a myriad of challenges, necessitating extensive renovations to ensure both functionality and compliance. Ranging from foundation issues, water infiltration causing mold issues, and many non-ADA compliant spaces, the scope to revitalize would have been vast.. The new high school will be around 235,000 square feet equipped with modern facilities and mechanicals, expansive locker rooms, cutting-edge technical education facilities, a four-court gymnasium, a dynamic performing arts center, ample parking, and flexible classroom spaces fostering seamless collaboration.
