A Lab With A View Invenra’s New Home
Huffman Keel Partners takes pride in contributing to the two-floor build-out for the Element building’s inaugural tenant, Invenra. Invenra, a biotechnology company headquartered in Madison, Wisconsin, specializes in early-stage drug discovery, particularly in the field of oncology. Their mission extends beyond cancer treatment, aiming to explore ways to prevent cancer altogether. The newly unveiled space offers state-of-the-art testing and research areas, collaborative offices, well-equipped laboratory support spaces, a dedicated mother’s room, wellness and activity spaces, and a modern kitchen and dining area. Numerous conference spaces facilitate communication and idea exchange. Notably, the labs and offices stand out for their abundant natural light, with large windows in nearly every space, and glass doors ensuring light permeates even rooms without direct access.
Capital High - A Space To Call Home
In the academic year 2023-2024, the Madison Metropolitan School District proudly welcomed a valuable addition to its educational repertoire – the newly unified Capital High School. Last night, we were honored to join in on the ribbon-cutting ceremony that marked the commencement of this transformative venture. Formerly divided into three distinct programs – Capital West, Capital East, and the Parenting Program – Capital High School now stands as a cohesive and innovative public alternative high school, a testament to the community's support through the 2020 Future Ready Referendum.
Transforming MSCR - A New West Side Community Hub
Huffman Keel Partners was proud to have collaborated with Madison School & Community Recreation as Owner Project Manager for their new West side location at 7333 West Towne Way. This former big box store location underwent a remarkable transformation, evolving into a vibrant community hub set to cater to the diverse needs of thousands of Madison area residents. Equipped with dance studios, art rooms, a pottery studio, a large gymnasium, and versatile conference spaces, MSCR West is ready to meet the diverse needs of all of its members.
A Public Safety Safety Center With Room To Grow
In 2017, the Village of McFarland embarked on a comprehensive assessment of their existing municipal infrastructure and properties, envisioning the future growth and requirements of the community. On October 5th, this forward-thinking approach materialized with the grand unveiling of the new Public Safety Center—a testament to meticulous planning and diligent execution.
Spanning an impressive 56,000 square feet, the new Public Safety Center now houses crucial community services, including the Police Department, Fire Department, and Municipal Court.
Neenah With Pride!
Echoing the excitement of that very first day in 1875, a new generation of eager students is poised to step through the doors of a state-of-the-art educational institution, marking the culmination of nearly seven years of meticulous planning, multiple referendums, and extensive community engagement. Huffman Keel Partners is honored to have been a part of this monumental project.
Madinah Community Center Takes Shape
Madinah Community Center, a non-profit religious organization, has faithfully served the Muslim community in the greater Madison area since 1994. What initially began as a humble prayer space, has transformed into a vibrant hub of activities and services to meet the needs of our Muslim community. Huffman Keel has been engaged as Owner’s Rep to help with the building of a new 12,500 SF Community Center.
An Upgraded Gathering Space For Madison Country Day
When students and staff return to Madison Country Day School after their summer break, they'll be welcomed back by newly renovated spaces. We are excited to be involved in this project as Owner Project Manager for MCDS.
A New Elementary School For Madison’s South Side
A new elementary school is being constructing for Madison’s South Side. With the completion of this project, students residing in the Rimrock Neighborhood will bid farewell to their long bus commutes to Frank Allis Elementary School, and instead, enjoy the convenience of attending a school located in their own community.
WYSO | Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestra
This 40,085 square foot center for music on East Washington Ave., will soon be home to hundreds of student musicians.
